First of all, thank you 444 coming to our page to listen to Mt. Moon 1. Whit and I always knew that we had to do a project like this eventually. Every time we made music together there would ALWAYS be magick so strong that it had to be captured in its rawness. All of the tracks on this mixtape are from 7 live sessions that took place between November 2019 thru January 2020. In these sessions we would often start from scratch and create tracks on the spot, improvising lyrics and melodies. Our aim was to capture the flow state we go into when creating together. We experimented with different methods of recording as well as genres throughout the creative process. Whit and I would also spend hours in these sessions having insightful conversations that helped shape the lyrical topics of the album, recognizing our own power and how to use it.
